28/08/2008 – The site is finally complete! I’ve uploaded all of the currently written chapters of Our Story (please note that although the drop-down menu shows 23 chapters and an epilogue, the story only has up to Chapter Twenty One so far). I’ve also made a few changes on the site itself, but I think that’s it for now – so I hope everyone likes the new face of my fanfiction!

 

27/08/2008 - Welcome to the new home of my Final Fantasy X-2 fanfiction! The site's brand new, so if you come across any broken links, or any faults, please let me know and I'll fix them.

The whole of "Rikku's Story" has been uploaded, and I'm currently up to Chapter Sixteen of "Our Story". I'll do my best to get the rest of the chapters up quickly and I'll also try and remember to keep this website as up-to-date as I can.

About Me

My penname is JoeyStar and I am a twenty-two year old student from the home of scones, tea, and fish and chips: England.

I've been writing since I was old enough to hold a pen, and writing seriously since I was thirteen. As all amateur writers I harbour the distant dream of becoming a published author, though whether this incredibly unlikely event occurs or not, I will always continue to write.

My interest in Final Fantasy comes courtesy of my older brother's fascination with computer games. It was only inevitable that I followed him down that slippery slope - although it was purely coincidence that this downfall occured at the same time that Final Fantasy VII was released.

I was instantly hooked. Final Fantasy represented the perfect combination of brilliant RPGs and great fantasy storylines that the writer in me could appreciate. (Even if they didn't always make complete sense ...) However, it wasn't until Final Fantasy X and X-2 came out several years later that I began to consider writing a genre of story that I'd read plenty of but never attempted myself ... fanfiction.
